Lily Schwartz

Research Assistant

I am a rising senior at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT, majoring in Human Development and Family Sciences (HDFS) with a particular interest in women’s and children’s health and nutrition. I am looking to pursue a PhD in HDFS/public policy after graduating. During the Spring 2025 Semester I worked as a research assistant on the ongoing National School Meal Study through the Rudd Center and Merrimack College, assisting with plate waste data collection at six elementary schools across Connecticut. This summer I am an intern at the Rudd Center as a research assistant, where I am working on multiple projects focusing on food policies and interventions across several platforms.
