Isabelli Costa da Silva
Graduate Assistant
Isabelli is a Research Assistant at the Rudd Center for Food Policy & Health, collaborating with Dr. Caitlin Caspi and Dr. Maria Gombi-Vaca. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Health Promotion Sciences in the Department of Allied Health Sciences at UCONN. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and a master’s degree in Human Nutrition from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (Brazil), where she focused on the interpretation of food and dietary consumption data, as well as the analysis of micronutrients. She is interested in understanding the relationships between social determinants of health and their impact on access to food, as well as investigating the impact of nutrition policies on improving nutritional status in populations.
