Allison Martin

Research Assistant


Allison Martin is a Research Assistant for the Rudd Center. She is currently working with Dr. Tatiana Andreyeva and Dr. Frances Fleming-Milici on a project studying the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on obesity-related dietary behaviors among Connecticut children, with a focus on infant feeding practices. Allison is currently finishing her bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences at the University of Connecticut. After graduation, Allison will be applying to medical school. She is passionate about the importance of disease prevention and health promotion through dietary practices. Furthermore, she aims to focus on the social determinants of health and how they encourage or impede proper health and well-being.
