Joel Villalba

Research Assistant

Joel Villalba is a Research Assistant for the Rudd Center for Food Policy & Health, working with Dr. Marlene Schwartz. Joel is currently a Master in Public Health student in UConn Health’s Public Health program. He received his B.S. in Public and Community Health Sciences at the University of Maryland – College Park. His research pertains to food security, food banking and potential solutions to promote health equity across diverse populations.
