Rudd Alumni: Renee Gross
Renee Gross, JD, is a Campaign Engagement Manager for Alliance for a Healthier Generation. Renee's expertise in public health focuses on translating obesity prevention research into effective policies, specifically recognizing and accounting for the social determinants of health. Renee works with a diverse set of stakeholders to further obesity prevention goals, including fostering relationships with legislators, state attorneys general, public agencies, non-profit organizations, and researchers.
Prior to Renee's experience developing public policy, she worked at the Legal Assistance Foundation of Metropolitan Chicago (LAF) and as Coordinator of Legal Initiatives for the Rudd Center for Food Policy & Obesity. Renee earned her B.S. in Communications and Psychology from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, and her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
