Faculty and Staff: Patrice Hubert, MS, RDN
Patrice Hubert is a graduate assistant for the Rudd Center for Food Policy & Obesity, working with Dr. Jennifer Harris and the food marketing team. She helped to explore the influence of targeted marketing in black and Hispanic youth.
Patrice earned her B.S in Dietetics in 2012 and her M.S in Nutritional Sciences in 2015 from the University of Connecticut. During her master’s program, Patrice was a recipient of the Bridge to Doctorate Fellowship through the National Science Foundation.
Currently, Patrice is a PhD student in Health Promotion Sciences at the University of Connecticut. Her current research examines the relationship of food preference and weight management in bariatric surgery. Patrice continues to explore food preferences as it relates to weight management and health disparities. She is also a Registered Dietitian with experience in pediatric weight management and provides nutrition counseling to University of Connecticut students.
